My other question for those who support Trump: What about the American Citizen who was killed by the Prince of Saudi Arabia? I understand he was a journalist, but still - he was an American. I cannot remember a time when such a public event was ignored by the White House.

For those who support Trump: does the Russian interference in the election, Trump benefiting financially from being President, his relationship with dictators, and disregard for the rule of law or Constitution bother you at all?
I'm asking an honest question. I don't understand how conservatives accept his actions when they seem to violate the Office.

I watched some of it starting at 50:12 : Here is the summary.
Local Needs "Are You Ready For The Great Tribulation?"
Mostly telling people to obey the elders even if it doesn't make sense, hide your literature, study, go to meetings, go out in service, ....
Lots of fear mongering.
There is nothing new under the sun.

Diversity is White Genocide
by corrie54 inasia for the asians, africa for the africans, white countries for everybody!.
everybody says there is this race problem.
everybody says this race problem will be solved when the third world pours into every white country and only into white countries.. the netherlands and belgium are just as crowded as japan or taiwan, but nobody says japan or taiwan will solve this race problem by bringing in millions of third worlders and quote assimilating unquote with them.. everybody says the final solution to this race problem is for every white country and only white countries to “assimilate,” i.e., intermarry, with all those non-whites.. what if i said there was this race problem and this race problem would be solved only if hundreds of millions of non-blacks were brought into every black country and only into black countries?.

Calling what is happening "genocide" is overstating the issue, and is not accurate. There is more intermarriage, more brown and black people are participating more freely in society in general and politics specifically.
Light skinned people and whites have been killing off and oppressing brown and black people all over the world since the beginning of time, so the fact that those of us who are White NOW complain that it might be happening to us (even though it is not) seems a little ridiculous.
At the same time, when you look at social dominance theory and social dominance orientation, it helps to explain the white male panic that is seems to be currently going around.

I just was told today by a pioneer that they are consolidating and dissolving congregations because KH are only 48% full on average in this country. Of course the justification was "they need the money to pay for growth in other countries and all the natural disasters...." I silently added, "uh, yeah. and all the lawsuits where they are losing millions of dollars...." anyhooo....

I have always wondered why JWWs were against Mother's Day, Father's Day, Grandparent's Day...those were all made up holidays by Hallmark.
Even Thanksgiving is sort of a grey area. I know a lot of JWs who have a turkey dinner on Thanksgiving while at the same time not calling it that or drawing attention to the fact that they do.
I can see ruling out 4th of July and Thanksgiving as political holidays...

If the investigation can solidly tie Trump and anyone else in the WH to any serious crimes - how about they be removed and we let congress govern until the election.

The courts don't believe either side - at least they are not supposed to. The evidence is presented, and then it compels people to believe one side or the other. Although the facts are the facts, there is no such thing as proof, only evidence - which we then choose to be swayed by or not. And each of us has a different line for where it tips over into "beyond a reasonable doubt" territory.
I am not the court, so I can be biased. I tend to trust and verify victims, while at the same time knowing that sometimes (rarely) people lie even about these things.
If there is one accuser - I tend to withhold assuming he is guilty. But when the count of accusers is 3 or more, that is when I flip over and assume he is guilty. You can get one person to lie, maybe even two. Coordinating 3 or more people to lie about that kind of thing would be much more difficult and unlikely.
At least that is how I settle things out when I see stuff like that.

@flipper ... it's annoying right?
My thinking around that is when people are required to suppress their desire for achievement in order to fit in, and then are deemed "worthy" of a title and some little influence...it sets people up to mis-use what power they feel they have. They have given their autonomy away, so they take it out on others. I doubt any of them are insightful about that at all, but that is the way I've always seen it. Basic Maslow - people have psychological needs to feel agency, and being a JW strips that away. It's a recipe for disaster, as we well know.

Too early to know. I'd be happy with any level headed, reasonable person from either party. Now that I vote (woot!), I vote issues, not party.
